The Camaro- The Camaro’s slim, horizontal headlights emphasize width and aggression, reinforcing its low, performance-driven stance. Sharp LED elements create a focused, modern lighting signature that reflects the car’s muscular heritage.
Project Brief:
Envision a concept pony car for 2035. Using Chevrolet's rich automotive design history, create a Camaro concept using the various roles assigned to the team.
Project: Design
Analyzing current automotive trends, the concept should resemble a Camaro made for tomorrow's drivers.
Performance
The car needs to reflect the performance of the future. It should be fast, agile, and have a modern design language. fitting of the SS badge.
Legacy
Chevrolet has a rich history of automotive design. The car should reflect this history while remaining modern and innovative for today's, market.
Vision
By analyzing current automotive trends, the car should be a modern interpretation of a classic Chevrolet Camaro.
Automotive Sketching
I began sketching what my iteration of the 2035 SS Camaro would look like. I learned to hone my automotive sketching skills taking what I know and putting my own style to it. I went for an aggressive package to really capture and celebrate Camaro's SS heritage.
2035 Camaro Concept design
The team came together on the chosen design to create the 2035 SS concept car. My design was not chosen but I had the privilege of becoming the Headlight Designer when when we split up into the concept car's components. The concept car showcases our design language we made at the beginning:

Headlight Design: Research
As the lead headlight designer for the concept Camaro, I explored the modern lighting trends in the automotive world of today and the future.
The key technologies I found were:

Began with a lot of sketches to fit our concept car, making sure to stay within our guidelines.
